I've been thinking up some interesting sales funnel ideas. I came up with this one late last night, it's still untested but I think it's quite promising. 1) Simple survey style landing page with 3 questions, make it easy for them to answer yes all 3x.. Sales psychology states the more times you get someone to answer yes before you pitch them the product the higher your conversion rate will be. Example: Are you slightly or moderately overweight: YES / NO --- Are you looking to lose weight quickly to meet a certain deadline: YES / NO --- Would you be willing to spread the word about a product if it worked for you: YES / NO. Most would answer yes to all 3. 2) Lead user to a landing page with convincing copy about a weight loss method that sounds amazing -- but keep it somewhat vague, don't mention the exact product or program name. Compliant advertorial style would probably work best. At the bottom have a screenshot of an embedded youtube video blurred with a lock over it (use content locker). 3) User completes offer to unlock video ($) 4) Send them to a clickbank weight loss video sales page ($$) Even if they don't convert on the clickbank offer they've already made you money. Plus most people would not really know the program costs money until late into the sales video, which will make the video that much more effective.
