How many offers should you make users complete on a content locker for optimal revenue 1 or 2 ?
When I setup more than 1 I hardly get any conversion, in my niche.
It seems like if you have a niche that gets conversions with 1 you would get conversions with 2, It's just a question of how much less.
it depends on the traffic, but the numbers are good and satisfactory in general..
I just got done running a week of users having to complete 2 offers instead of 1 and it appears as though I got slightly less clicks per day and less revenue to my surprise. I'm curious to hear from more people who have tested changing between completion requirement numbers and what they have discovered.
2 is really pushing it
I'd say it depends on the content, the disparity of the user, the ease of the offers... really, you'll need to try it out. I would imagine if they complete one, and are asked to "just complete one additional offer so see the content" you'll have more success.
My worries about doing the 2 offers really was how many of these users will land on the locker and see that they have to do 2 offers and so just leave, or give up before the first is done. I really didn't think in my case it would in the end reduce earnings, but I guess it did.
But yeah I could mess around with the text and test different wording and see if I can't increase results too.
The best answer you can get is: it depends.
The only way for you to find out what converts for YOU is to test different approaches. A lot depends on your niche, on the site, on the offers that you promote and various other aspects so it's largely irrelevant what has and hasn't worked for others.
