For those of you that do content lock on ranked pages... do your rankings drop after you add the content lock?

*** This could probably be moved to CPA forum

I have set content locker to work "on click" and I haven't noticed any negative effect on my site's rankings.

What does onclick do? IF they were going to download or watch something they would click it and the lock would pop up?
can someone show me examples of content locking even? Some urls?
    PM me if you need.

I've only tried it on one site that was already ranking well and the site hasn't dropped at all. I put that one on about a month ago. For other sites I've put a locker on it when I first create it and then build links and they've ranked fine too. I do a funny iframe-redirection thing with mine though so that might be why mine aren't effected.

if you add this in blogger then it can drop your ranking but in any self hosted blog/ site your rank will not be affected for adding the coding of content locking.

And be sure to put the code that actually executes the locker at the end of your HTML.

Someone should do a case study to figure this out. To be safe, I would recommend putting lockers on your inner pages.
