    Hey guys,

Just started my linkbuilding campaign for my website and I'm already seeing results from organic traffic!

Although one thing is concerning me, some of my content is indexed with /tag/ in it on wordpress.

    Example:

If someone searches for blue widgets and my site pops up in organic traffic, it'll appear like this for the article:

    www(.)domain(.)com/tag/why-blue-widgets-are-awesome
    Shouldn't it be:

    www(.)domain(.)com/why-blue-widgets-are-awesome without the '/tag/'?

I have my permalink structure set to the post name, but I also have a plugin called simple tags installed as well. Is this something I should worry about and if so, how do I fix it?

    Thank you.

It seems as though my tags from the front page are being indexed instead of my main links.

Shouldn't really be a problem, you'll get the visits regardless.

I specifically set the robots-INDEX only for my article pages and explicitly disabled for the rest like the tags-shit. But is this really a good idea... I thought it is until now.

So this means, you >> backlinked to your articles and not to the tag-pages <<, but regardless of that, G indexes the tag-page, right? Or did you only backlink to your root domain?

I haven't backlinked to any of my articles yet or the tag-pages, only the root domain so far. I wanted to get that ranked first. I looked at the all in one seo plugin and seems like I forgot to check NOINDEX for tag archives. I research a little more and it seems like it'll take 2-3 weeks for the tag pages to be de-indexed. All of my regular articles have not really been indexed yet.
