    I had a website whose domain expired. I had few articles on that website. When I check those articles it shows on :
    browse.feedreader.com

    Are those articles unique ? If not, how to rectify so that I can use those articles again ?

    I have one more website whose hosting is going to expire in few days. How to de-index whole blog so that I can use its content in future ?

    Generally, duplicate content issue is solved with the help of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/301_redirect. However, it's impossible to apply in this particular case, as the domain expired.

    What we suggest is to do is to wait until your articles disappear from feedreader.com and then upload them to your working site.

    Until this domain expired, you need to:

    - hide its pages from search engine crawlers with the help of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots_exclusion_standard (using Disallow: /);
    - deindex this domain pages in your Webmaster Tools account.

    When the pages disappear from search engine indexes, you may copy any content that was on them to your new site.

    Hope you find this info useful.

    I have experienced it in past. You can't use them instantly. I remember having a website that got hit badly due to Google updates, so I left it as it was. Obviously, the domain got expired, but I didn't care. After few months when I checked, the articles were unique. There was no sign of these articles on Internet. So, made some changes in the content and used those articles again on a new website.
