Hello you very wonderful and intelligent people that make up this forum. I truly hope everything is going well for you.

I have been learning alot about SEO and the various factors that go into it and find it very interesting. I know it is alot of hard work, but hopefully this will pay off if you are consistent.

Can i kindly please ask for optimising your on page content for SEO such as blogs, how can you make content that is attractive, for instance is the length of the blog post important please? If you kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

Lastly, can i please ask how you find what keywords would be the most important to include within your blog posts repeatedly to help your SEO please? If you kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever thankful and it would be highly appreciated.

Sending you lots of good wishes and i truly hope you achieve massive success with your business goals and have a wonderful and amazing future. With my every best wishes.

It's great to see your enthusiasm for SEO and content optimization. You're right; it does take a lot of effort and consistency, but the rewards can be substantial.

When it comes to optimizing on-page content like blog posts, there are several key factors to consider:

1. Content Length

Yes, the length of your blog post can impact your SEO. Generally, longer content tends to perform better in search rankings because it often provides more comprehensive information. Aim for at least 1,000 words, but ensure the content remains high quality and relevant. Posts that are 2,000 words or more often perform exceptionally well because they can cover topics in-depth.

2. Quality and Relevance

Quality over quantity is crucial. Make sure your content is engaging, well-researched, and provides value to your readers. Use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and images to make the content easy to read and visually appealing.

3. Keyword Optimization

  • Keyword Research: Start by finding the right keywords. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest to find keywords relevant to your topic. Look for keywords with a good balance of search volume and competition.
  • Placement: Include your primary keyword in the title, the first 100 words, and naturally throughout the post. Also, use related keywords and synonyms to avoid keyword stuffing and make the content more readable.
  • Meta Tags: Optimize your title tag and meta description with the primary keyword. Keep the title tag under 60 characters and the meta description under 160 characters.
  • Alt Text: Use keywords in the alt text of your images to improve image searchability.

4. Internal and External Links

  • Internal Links: Link to other relevant posts on your site to keep readers engaged and improve the site's overall SEO.
  • External Links: Link to authoritative sources to provide additional value and context to your readers. This also signals to search engines that your content is well-researched.

5. User Experience (UX)

  • Mobile-Friendly: Ensure your site is mobile-friendly, as a significant amount of traffic comes from mobile devices.
  • Loading Speed: Optimize your site's loading speed. Slow-loading pages can negatively affect user experience and search rankings.

6. Engagement

Encourage reader engagement through comments, shares, and likes. Interactive content, such as polls, quizzes, and videos, can also boost engagement.

Finding Important Keywords

To identify the most important keywords for your blog posts:

  1. Brainstorm Topics: Start with broad topics relevant to your niche.
  2. Use Keyword Tools: Tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Ubersuggest can help you find keywords. Look for keywords with a good search volume and low to moderate competition.
  3. Analyze Competitors: Look at the keywords your competitors are ranking for using tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.
  4. Long-Tail Keywords: Focus on long-tail keywords (3-4 word phrases) that are specific to your content. These often have lower competition and can attract more targeted traffic.
  5. Content Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in your competitors’ content and create content that fills those gaps.
By consistently applying these strategies, you'll be well on your way to creating attractive, SEO-optimized content that draws in readers and ranks well on search engines.

Best of luck with your SEO journey! Wishing you massive success and a wonderful future ahead.

Great to see you're diving into SEO, and SEO can truly be a game changer. For on-page SEO, content is definitely the key. For blog content length focus on at least a length of 1000+ words, generally. If you want the exact length of the blog that you should target try looking into the top ranking blogs that rank for your target keywords.

Lastly, Keywords are important but don't overuse them.
