    Hi,

I am building an eCommerce website with more than 4000 products on it. Its very difficult for me to write content for each product page. I am just replacing keywords on the product pages and that's all. The duplication between two pages is found to be around 90%.

    Now, i have to options:

1- Write thin content to avoid duplication.
2- Do extensive keyword stuffing to make them unique.

What would you recommend, and please also suggest some techniques if you have.

    Thanks in advance!

Don't worry about it i would say. I had similar situation with stores before, and it didn't stop the sites from ranking ok. Each of the pages were the same, except for the title and the description and a mention of the category that the product was in. I had 100k pages.

You can to complement your site, actually build a smaller site, with maybe a 10 product feature, and give that very unique reviews or content, and then just put a banner and links to the main site. That way you can target more specifically a particular product.

Write good sentences suitable for the customer as well as for search engines. It is a pain in the neck, but it is worth it in the end. You are missing out on a lot if you don't make the most of your product pages.
