Have anyone tried some kind of stuff like this?

I am interested in tool/method which tracks some of competitors sites and pings me once they drop new content on their sites (just in the moment content is published and is not indexed yet by google). Once I get that info about content release, I dublicate that content into my blog and manually index it, so it apperas in google index faster.
Can anyone recommend ideas how to implement this into reality?

Someone did this before and it indeed working, but...for long term reason, this is not a good strategy why? Because finally those people will go after you, DMCA google and your hostings, but if you say "you are first" they can't do that, I bet once in a while, you will get hurt and site nuked suddenly by some uncontrollable reasons.

Sure you can try it anyway, just many people will think this is very immoral and dicky.

which tools may help with that?
1) dublicate content to another site
2) ping me once the new article on some sites is released

I don't know, I never did such things. I think RSS plugins can help you monitor a given site, when they publish, you get the signal immediately; While a auto spun plugin or function can help you avoid future potential DMCA or nasty things?

isn't this what RSS feeds do ?? I think any RSS-based autoblogging plugin can do these things, just google "autoblogging plugins", or go to codecanyon and look them up, you'll find plenty

The problem that I see is that if Google crawls that page but doesn't indexes it, before you steal it then Google knows which one came first. You can never be sure if Google crawled that page before you stole it. Don't use site: operator as it is very unreliable for freshly indexed pages on weaker domains. Also, don't do this since it is certainly not a long term strategy.

Threads like this make me wish we had a down vote button. You'd have to be a pathetic human to even think of this -- stealing someone else's content and claiming ownership. Might as well go rob people in their homes.

You can make a python script to check if content changes to alert you via mail or message and then just host it anywhere you want it's not that difficult and the best part will be. You can use the same script with a little change for different sites all for free.

I think it won't work for you. It was old trick

1. If they have an rss feed, use IFTTT to send you an email automatically when they post.
2. If they have a subscription for automatic notification, you can subscribe and keep track.
It is a good and lazy way to ride on KW research by others. But they are also not sure they will rank, you'd rather do your own KW research.
