In a recent market research conducted by Lab42 shows that : 50% of consumers value a brand's Facebook page more than the brand's website . The survey was conducted with 1,000 social media users on how they interact with brands on Facebook —It appeared that consumers are viewing a brand's Facebook presence as more important than ever. But 73% of customers also noted that they have no issue with un-Liking a brand on the site if they post too often.

How are you treating your Facebook page?

This doesn't surprise me, it's intuitive, but I assumed there was research showing this when I saw all the major TV networks usually plug their FB and twitter accounts instead of their website, during their shows.
