I would reformat and install windows if you can.
How long have you been running windows on that hd?

Might be time to clean up stuff anyways. Just backup what you want.
Malware tends to come from Torrents & Porn sites

We dont know what things you are doing ;)
Giggity.

360 security is what i use btw.

This advice is spot on!

This is what you need:
https://www.wintips.org/malware-removal-guide/

Prepare to spend the next few hours doing this but it is pretty bulletproof.

Additionally, once clean, I would add - use Avast as your antivirus.

I have been using them since 2008 - 2009 and have have never had a machine infected. And, I'm talking about 9 machines at home, and 7 at my office and never an issue. Prior to that, I used, McAfee, Norton and then Comodo and had problems with their software detecting malware attacks. Maybe they have changed since then, maybe not, but Avast WORKS!!!!

If you don't know this, websites such as CNN, NYDailyNews, NYPost, USAToday, etc., are all constant targets of hackers attempting to inject malware, and other harmful trojans, and .exe files into their sites. My point is, sites that you think are clean can be hacked and infected, and then can infect your machine. Avast regularly catches these harmful files from these targeted websites.

Lastly, stay away from the p-o-o-r-n websites, lol.

Ok small update.....
I installed Avast, did not find anything.......and I use the link somebody gave me here.....the CMD.exe does not pop up anymore....it was indeed malware.....clearly installed on my C: under disk folder.......
non of thte programs picked it up....rkill, aws, malware bytes.......but I tried rogue kill....and that found these things on c: that all other programs missed.....
thank you, I hope it will work fine now......it is a waste of time to reinstall windows I think...but having so many programs to have to run, that is a minus too from my perspective.....
evrybody bookmark that link from above

No, you just need to use Durex on your Harddrive!

Do not run a VM. That's just dumb. Just be careful about what you download and use adblockpro.

Just don't click any ads and you'll be fine. You do not get viruses by watching porn. You get them from downloading shit from unofficial sources. Torrents? Nulled plugins?

How's running a VM supposed to be "dumb"?

You can literally test, clone, have dozens of instances of a single machine in a matter of seconds.. And not just Windows on Linux, but also Windows on Windows, Windows on a Mac OS host.. Same thing applies for Android that can be virtualized almost seamlessly.. And where would you assume the safe threshold is when "being careful" about what you download?

Truth is even projects on github and other opensource repositories sometimes get hacked, ccleaner got hacked as well recently and there are so many stealth ways (as FUD by your antivirus) to be infected that you're in for a very rough ride if you think that running an ad blocker and trying to paying attention will be enough... Maybe if you keep your PC disconnected or only pay for each and every piece of software you run, that I'm sure it's what everybody's doing on this forum /SARCASM

As far as games, if you're a gamer maybe just reinstall your windows from scratch and just play games on your native windows while installing a virtual machine with windows (yes, windows on windows) as a guest and keep testing everything that's kind of untrustworthy (like anything downloaded off a forum) inside that box that's reasonably separated from your own real PC.

virtualbox.org is free, backed by oracle if you want to give it a go
