I have underdog media and projectwonderful for ads.

I would really like to monitize these people but the niche is humor and they are tech savvy people. I have been out of the game for a little while and I just don't know what to do. Im making 20 cents so far off of these people. I know it should be more. I got banned from Adsense as well so that's a no go. What should I do to make money off of this huge stumbleupon traffic I am getting.

As a replacement for adsense check adbrite or chikita. If they are tech savvy people they will almost never click on a banner ad. Your best bet is to try amazon affiliate or start a news letter. With the new letter you can drop cpa campaigns but you will need to design a very non spammy LP.

What is the link to your website? I may can help you out if I can see it :)

Nice try but no can do.

I have tried CPA lead for about 15 minutes and I didn't get any leads and my traffic dropped from 1000+ hits to 600 and I abandoned the ship. For now I am taking advantage of the CPM. I forgot I had an adbrite account and I added it to the site and I won't get to see how it will make me until it updates in 3 hours. Oh boy.

Whats the reason that you got banned from Adsense? Why not JV with someone else because nothing pay as Adsense does.

I still haven't found anything anywhere near adsense in terms of payment/ease of use. If you have a friend or family member close to you, they could set up an adsense account. If you are looking to use it more seriously, you could register an llc and apply for a tax id number. You could then use the LLC to register a new account with Adsense.

- look to see what other similar sites are advertising
- adbrite and chitika are like 1/10th of adsense revenue generally. konterra and contextual links sometimes less in my personal experience.
- CJ and other networks have some programs where you can group vendors into a market and have their ads flip through a certain ad space. i think it's called smart links at cj.
- keep in mind that people at humour sites still click on ads (ads like "who's cooler? justin bieber or puff daddy?") and tech related people still buy things (web hosting, dating, tech toys, even some cheap gizmo at amazon can sometimes pull them in)
- people will usually reply CPA for backup, however i've had mixed results with organic seo on sites with cap ads.
- all else fails, try to sign up for email - having an email list built from a project can be a large asset in the longer run.
