    Hi,
I am using PayPal for my personal use but I now I want a business account for one of my website.
I want to open US PayPal business account. I have a relative in US and he can open PayPal business account for me.

Since this is my first time with their business account (and not on my own name) I don't know which account type (individual, proprietorship, partnership etc) to choose while opening business account and whether I can access that account (without using Proxy or VPN) from my own country's IP. I also want to know what kind/type of proof they want from my US relative.

The website's WHOIS details are showing my name and my country. Should I hide that information before/after creating a new account?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

In my opinion no, you don't need to hide that informattion.

Before you proceed to open any business bank account you must first open a business. You cannot grab a leaf if the tree hasnt grown yet.

You have different types of companies, here in the UK, there are:
    - Sole trader.
    - Parnertship.
    - Limited.
    - Shared Limited.

Each one has different purposes, make sure to learn all this before jumping anywhere else.

    Best of luck with that.

You sound inexperienced, therefore you shouldn't open an account until you have got everything in place, you may also put others at risk.

Start by learning the different company forms in your country and choose the one that fits your needs, NOT one that just sounds cool.

And I wouldn't recommend using proxies for such activities, any mistake and your account is gone. Just use your own IP, you're allowed to have on personal account and one Premier/Business account.

Edit: You posted above while I was writing this, but still what I said applies.

I am inexperienced but how that will put others at risk?

    What is/are Company forms?

I am opening US PayPal business account (not from my own country). Don't you think that will trigger an alarm if I access that account from my IP/country?

Firstly, as some people have pointed out above, in order to open a PayPal business account you need to either register a company or register yourself as a sole proprietor. If you want a US account then you need to do this in the US.

As for having someone else register the account for it and then accessing it from your country (either through a proxy or directly), this is sure to trigger red flags and PayPal will very quickly start asking questions, with odds being that you won't be able to answer most of those, leading to your account getting terminated.

If you want to do this properly and avoid unnecessary risks then your best bet is to open a legit PayPal account in YOUR country. If PayPal is not supported in your country then you should look into either partnering with someone or using an alternative payment handler.

I am selling services on my website can I use PayPal Premier account there? I saw many websites selling service and using PayPal for payments but none of them are registered a company in US. How they manage to get a business PayPal account without registering their company in US?

What if I use his own computer to access that account? Skype screen access, Team Viewer etc?

I have Canadian based personal account (using it for years) but sadly, I am not in Canada anymore. How to upgrade that account to Business when I am not there? Do you know someone providing PayPal partnering service here on BHW?

I would not worry about using another country's IP address when logging into your paypal account, whether it's business or personal. However, do not use a 'popular' VPN as they're most likely flagged on Paypal's system and will cause your account to be reviewed.

Not sure what your 'quote' is referring to.

Which part of your question(s)? The WHOIS? I wouldn't worry about that, but it wouldn't hurt to make it private it, would it?

Ah ok. I see now. Choose indivdual for sure - unless you plan on having multiple people having access to your account (and letting Paypal know about it) then you'll be fine.
