So, Awhile back ago (like, nearly 2 years ago) i had an idea for a video series on youtube. I figured id try to monetize the series with ads and such on youtube.

Well, like a year went by, and i never could get the channel approved for ads.

So like a month ago, i logged into my account, and saw a message saying youtube accepted me into there program, and i could start putting adsense on my videos.

mmkay. well thats great, but its just those little banner dealies, and i wanted the video ads. but i figured what the heck, and enabled them.

So this morning i log into my account, and it looks like i now have the option to add video ads to my videos in my channel. YAY!

So, how does this work, is it strictly pay per view?
Do i get paid even when its one of the ads the user can skip within X amount of seconds, or does the whole ad need to be watched?
or does the user have to still click on the video ad or something?

Ive search and i really cant find a definate answer. anyhelp is appreciated. THanks!

be careful with youtube. i had over 100 videos monetized then they rejected my partnership account claiming i didnt have sufficient rights to my videos yet i made them all my self they were all tutorials, waste of time imo
