So I just opened a BHW account and I've been absorbing all this information. I think I'm at a point where I see so many options, I'm confused as to what step I should take next.

I already got some cash from here. Made about $75 the past 5 days doing some odd freelancing jobs, so I'll continue using my programming skills to make that side money. Now I just want to start working on something more passive. I was interested in doing SEO, but I'm not sure what I should do. Should I make review sites? Or should I just focus on something cheaper like PPD?

I don't have much money to spend now. About $100 in the bank account. I know some of you guys are going to say use the search box, but honestly, there is so much things to learn on the forum, I'm getting overwhelmed.

    Threads,

I have a couple buddies in your same position. They are moving out of their old jobs and looking for work, but, in the meantime, they building websites. After speaking with them over the past few weeks, they have ultimately focused on affiliate marketing to help build passive income.
    A few points.

    1. Do what you know. The old adage is "write about what you know." I suggest that you see if any of your passions in life or anything that you're good lines up with any niches that you could exploit. The content should come naturally then and it won't be so hard to create.

    2. Start small and know what you're getting into. A big mistake is that people have a grand idea and they end up buying a website, working for a week, and then quitting and/or getting burned out. I fell into this mistake the first time I started, trying to build an online auctions website. I thought it was a great idea, but I didn't do any SEO research, competition research, or research to know how much it would cost to start. I did all of this research after I started, and, although I had a fresh idea for online auctions, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze and I stopped working on it (wasting about $100).

    3. Don't quit. Once you start, don't quit. It takes about 3-6 months to rank on the SERPs, so, unless you're going to spend a lot of money on advertising or your site is awesome, you probably won't start seeing money or traffic for a while. Don't let it get you down. Just keep pushing through it.

If you have programming experience, I suggest you tie that into your site. The business model that many software companies are going to is by putting their program on the web and charging a monthly fee for it. There are tons of problems out their that software can solve.

I know how it feels when you first join or see BHW and all of these ideas start flowing. Quick tip is to just stick to one and take
action until you have success in the one niche or method. Then take the money you are earning from it and apply it to other ideas.

Try starting out with PPD first it definitely helps to gain that starting capital to invest in other things that you'd like to do that earns you a ton more.

If there is one think I learned in the last 12 years, stick with ONE and only ONE think. I have had my ups and downs, but always did best when I was focused in ONE think. It is as simple as choosing a method that seams suitable for you. Anybody could possible point you to a method they are used to or have experience in, but not all methods are made for everyone. Choose the one methods from the hundreds we have here that you could do your best in.

I have vast experience in setting up businesses, and in the past 2 years I'm building authority sites. If you ever need help in SEO, brand building, converting and content that converts, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to help!

    Cheers

So many marketers quit an idea just before it has the potential to grow. Focus and perseverance are KEY.
