In March I created 281 web 2.0 blogs. I took all the URLs from the blogs, trimmed them to root in Scrapebox, removed duplicates, and now need to know how to weed out which ones are suspended.

suspended blogs don't return a 404 so I can't tell that way. Or can I?

How do I quickly figure out which blogs are active so I can build some strong Tier 2 links to them.

(BTW does anyone have any recommendation for a good Tier 2 link builder service here on BHW?)

THank you for considering this question

    dont need to trim.

take all urls to scrapebox >> remove duplicate domains >>page scanner free SB addon >> search for text that your MS has

Come on this a joke you got scrapebox long time and dont no how to scrape 2 teir links ...

Scape box got the majestic and moz added know , please dont tell me i just read above that post correctly

Your best bet is get gsa and get a new list in your niche from a list provider on here and get blasting ....

I am sure that they can also use the list in scrapebox easly ....

Ansaw to your question use link checker on all your blog domains if there active.

Most do return 404 or some other code that Scrapebox Alive Checker recognizes. Those that do not are not worth the bother.

That has always been the easiest way for me. Some web 2.0s are crap of course and can return false codes, but even then, you can expect them closely, check what code it gives if it's deleted and add the code into Alive Checker to mark the web 2.0 as dead.

U have to check what HTTP code they return and what they show when a page doesn't exist or if it is suspended. Usually, these are 301, 302 code if the website doesn't exist and is redirected to the root of the platform. Sometimes it is a custom 404 page. Sometimes it's 200 code, so you have to put "must contain" specific text (but usually the 200 code are the taken blogs, which you can't register). And of course, there is a possibility where the registrar has redirected this web2.0 to his new website. Then, make a new definition for that specific platform and insert the list there to check which one is available for registration. After that check their links and PA with the page authority addon.

pardon my first post in this thread, it made totally nosense lol

anyway pagescanner is best for that because you just search for moneysite url you used (or for root domain of that url if you used multiple urls) and if it finds it then the page is alive. you can even specify multiple moneysites and urls in that addon. its flawless tool. if your moneysite url is not found then it cant be anything else than 404.

alive check returned me false checks too. annoying

    just stick with pagescanner
