So far, I have only outsourced small tasks to VAs. Now I want to outsource an entire process.

However, I'm concerned that the VA might just use my "unique method" himself, since he "doesn't necessarily need me" to do it.

An alternative is automation. I have hired a developer who has already completed a script, but it needs the human hand.

Have any of you been in this situation before? How did you guys handle it?

It's essentially starting a business in my eyes. Really does come with the hassle of keeping "workers" in line, keeping your own work in line and keeping your life in line.

Struggling with the whole life part this end but if your mission is as promising as mine, keeping at it through the annoying parts should have you never stressing again!

All in all, if you feel you know what you want and can explain what you want to your workers your work will be a lot easier.

Edit: Getting a developer saves so much stress, you're properly on the right path just need to keep your paths moving :)

I think you must split your method in multiple mini methods and mix them or not. Than outsource these to VA's where each one will work on his mini task/method without talking with another VA. Sharing the whole method to one VA is suicide.
Another method is to have control on domain name + server. And you give to VA control to website dashboard as admin, and he will manage payments, support and etc and he will pay you % from profit. If your website is ranked on google well and have traffic than is the best combo. Your VA can clone the business, the website, but can't get the traffic.
