    Hi,

First off, I'm a complete newbie to posting and have been trying to make some money with internet marketing and i would appreciate ANY advice i can get from you guys.

Quick history of me and my site:

I ran an escort agency for about 12 years. I've been in the adult industry for about 15... I sold my agency and I'm trying to make some money off of my knowledge of the industry... one way is that i created a web site with information about certain parts of the industry, this IS NOT a porn site. I've started hosting reviews of escorts on the site and the visitors have increased from around 350 a day to about 5000 a day with 90% being unique. I took about a week to get to 5000 and it is still climbing...But, I don't even know if 5000 visitors a day is good or if making money is still a pipe dream at this point.

I have tried to monetize the site. i have 3 ads that go to an adult dating site that pay's me $5.50 per signup. i convert maybe 1 person a day... And, I'm not making millions at $5.50 a day!

I guess my question is a simple one... Am i on the right track? without looking at the site, are there other things i should be trying? I don't want to put intrusive ads on the site because the information i have on the site is good and i am trying to build this thing organically...

Any suggestions would be great... If you have any other questions, i would be happy to answer them...

I don't think positing the site name is against the rules but please let me know and i will post it if you need to see it... Also, if i can get some good advice i will take it and post the results here as i implement the suggestions on my site.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help!

Offer visitors to see a snippet of an escort review for free. In order to read the full review, they have to buy a premium membership to your site. You can toy with locking other features to free members.

    Thanks for the reply uncutu.

I have thought about that but the problem is that it's not a "review" site and the ads that are pulled in from other advertising sources just have open comment space so that people can comment on (review) the ads... And, although there are over 26,000 ads available on the site for review, there are no actual reviews yet. I just started pulling in the information (only been pulling the ads for 2 weeks) and market the site as a free place to see the ads... the site's main purpose isn't for reviews. I use the information in the ad's to help with the SEO to pull people to the site (which is working wonderfully so far). So, basically, there are no reviews to pay for...

I appreciate the idea though... Thank you.
