Competitor page was unpublished, he changed the name, url and it is back

    Hello, a Competitor's page was unpublished, he changed the name, url and it is back .. i would like to know how this is possible ? can anything be done against this page because he has been trying all his best for months to ruin, cause damage to my page !

    Hello, no i did not make any mistake, the name of the page was changed and also the url - i believe this was done with some sort of merging

    Perhaps the use of a 301 redirect was used to pass the traffic. Dependant on the case ie supposing the content is defamatory, legally you could request the content is removed. Get in touch with the webmaster and ask, failing that get in touch with their host and report content. Similarly the previous could be used where content is directly copied. Outside of that the internet is effectively a free competitive market.

    Even better then: this means it's moderated. Send him a warning, if that fails, see if Facebook can do anything about it. Defamation is a real crime, and Facebook doesn't want to touch that with a 5 mile pole.

    How do you know he is the one trying to ruin your page?

    I have always said this and still maintain my stand, make your page and authority and forget about any mischievous behavior on your page. You will be immune and people will know, trust and love your page.

    thanks, you are right but i wanted how come it is still possible to change a page name of 90,000 fans and even the url ? what tricks he used ?
