    Hello
I found a keyword that I would like to rank.
After a little check of the top ranked blog I found out they are pretty aggressive with the onpage keyword density.
These are the onpage keyword density of three websites ranked on first page blogs:
    4.65%
    10.74%
    2.53%

Should I be this aggressive too?

Its depends , may be they are using churn burn technique and that's the reason they are using aggressive keyword density. If its your money site don't use high keyword density.

We manage about 20 websites for different clients and tried various tactics for some of them. High keyword density will not necessary help you. Chances are, there are bigger things in play, such as links this person is building so in the end he would be even higher in searches if the kw density was lower.

We tried a few times increasing it for a couple of sites and our ranking would go down in all of those cases. 10% is waaaay too much.

Only for one-word keywords. Two word should be at least 70% because then each of the words get it's fair share.

I heard 100% in font size 789 is your best option.

Not only Google loves this, your visitors will too
You seem to be an expert. I should mark the full text as h1 to get more exposure right?

You can do whatever the hell you want. As long as the keywords are relevant and don't look over optimized you are fine.
