    Hi,

A competitor of mine, a national (UK) company has a local shop/store near me.

They have create a personal account on Facebook, unlike me who did things properly and created a business page.

I want to report them and have FB remove/close it.

How should I go about this so that it will be taken down? I'm concerned that FB won't do anything if just one person reports it. It is obvious that it is a business.

    Thanks for any advice :)

Report the page as infringing on a trademark and provide proof. (Indicating the actual fanpage). They will take this much more seriously than reporting it as "spam" because of the legal weight behind trademark infringement. There is a process to do so on their site.

Report it as being "Not an Actual Person". you can also report it as a "Fake Account". If they've added a lot of people they don't know it will be a lot harder for them to recover the account. A lot of accounts have been lost because of this. Just one report could send them packing. Hope this helped you in a way.

You should definitely report them and hope Facebook finds enough reasons to take down the user's account. If they are really safe with their actions, it might be hard to get their accounts taken down.
