My competitor has a very interesting system going to get his rankings...

He basically has a network of blogs (A LOT) that all interlink and have a bunch of content - each blog links to a bunch of others and then each one links back to his site.

Is there a way to replicate this for my site?

Please advise :)

yeah its called a linkwheel. search for linkwheel on the top left and you will see exactly how to implement this strategy, then you'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Start building your own network of blogs - a lot of them. You already seem to know *exactly* what he is doing, so the only things stopping you would be the ability to create blogs and initiative.

It's a proven strategy, autoblog linkwheels.

It takes time to build but it pays off.

Also search for CasinoJacks e-book: "Horseshoes are for Ninjas"

ps: 2nd time I push his e-book. Too bad it's free, I'd be a good affiliate for him... ;-)

Just read the Horseshoes for Ninja's book. Nice light read. If you haven't read it yet, I would STRONGLY suggest it. Another tool in the batbelt.

Thanks for the replies!

I knew what a link wheel was, but I figured it was done mainly with web 2.0 type authority sites (not blogs)...

Anyone know the quickest way to begin creating a ton of blogs with quality content all interlinking?

Yup.. Sure do. I'm not going to spoon feed it to ya... So go check out the content part of this forum and find some methods people use.

1 thing you could do is hire an aritcle writer and have him/her write a bunch for articles for $1 a piece lol... OR you could have someone write you 10 articles and create 50+ sites *hint*hint*

I've read about this structure but think I prefer the web 2.0 properties linking to money site and then getting links to each web 2.0 properties.

This seems to have far too much interlinking involved.

Anybody have any proven results with this method?

report to google ;) complain about link farming or BUILD YOUR OWN NETWORK ;)

when it comes to making your own linkwheels, how important is it that they are similar topics? i'm in the process of chugging out an absolutel HORDE of sites/blogs - should i just link them all up together, or should i go niche-specific?!

I think it depends on the link wheel.

If you're interlinking then I'd say on topic is important, as you'll be linking from article/blog to other articles/blogs.

If you're doing the tree analogy where the trunk is the money site and the branches are the links, then I guess as long as they all are on theme to the money site, it's ok.

I've not gone into this field yet though so someone's experience might say otherwise.

Here is a valuable link to more info about link wheeling. I believe it's well elaborated...

Is link farming the same as wheeling?
I am read sth about linkwheeling and some say its blackhat, some say it's not... some say it's good for link juice, others again are sceptical... the lest thing I want is to be penalized :D
