Cannot honestly recommend a company to do this.

If you want a cheap service to do this, expect to pay at least $5,000.

If I were you, try and remove a few of the worse links yourslf. Then you would be better off to pick a bunch of SEO services (from the buy and sell section of BHW) designed to push the content you dont want down SERPS. $750 or so should do it...saving you $4,250.

I had a good friend of mine that ran a brand reputation management firm and this was one of the things that they did. They're not around anymore (they did a good job, they just choose to move on), but I would recommend searching for and finding a REPUTABLE brand rep. firm. Make sure you can check their references of course and don't just "fall for their prices" until you've throughly researched them.

Did you hear about Linkdetox? Read reviews about them before going with them.

Yeah I was starting to think twice about it. I'll give it a couple weeks and see.
    It does seem kinda shady.

    I'll check it out, thanks.

Yeah I heard the horror stories too.

Personally I consider the disavow tool to be as if I was working for the google spam team for free.
Google isn't paying me to report spam or whatever so why bother....

I believe you can not remove 100% of your bad links. Instead just try to remove as many as possible by yourself and start building high quality links from then.

lol, Google's disavow tool is NOT a way to remove links... yikes!

People who use this tool at all are fools.

I've heard others say the same thing. Can you elaborate a bit? As I respect your opinion as you really seem to understand things.
What is this "disavow" tool really doing besides giving Google Free info... In your opinion?
