I'm going to be somewhat vague here mostly because I have to be. Long story short, I recently left a career in commercial radio. I programmed and worked on-air at a number of radio stations in the U.S. before deciding to leave the industry because the money was... to be frank, AWFUL. Internet marketing has been an emerging interest of mine for some time, and I've been brainstorming ways to combine that with radio/broadcasting for a profitable new venture for just as long. Luckily, I had some foresight before I left (the last company I worked for was one of the biggest radio companies in America) and made sure that I maintained access to a number of the better resources they had to offer. My plan now is to use these resources to their full extent (legally) to launch an online streaming station and app branded with one of the new GTLDs. Here's what I have to offer:

    1. A large catalog of clean music and on-going new music releases specific to my genre of expertise. I also have access to one other genre, so there's potential for future expansion.
    2. Music programming knowledge and propriety software that will run a radio station from any PC 24/7. This is not commercially available and any commercial options that claim to do this are nowhere near as good.
    3. A massive catalog of sound effects and other "imaging" elements. Imaging refers to the sound bytes and drops you hear between songs that identify the station you're listening to.
    4. An excellent background in branding, graphic design, video editing, and even some web design.
    5. An idea of how to cheaply license this music and content to make this completely legit.

I would like my primary focus to be branding and programming the station.

I'm offering large minority shares in this venture to someone, or a group of people who...

    1. Can effectively monetize and market a streaming radio station and app. I'm open to any and all ideas.
    2. Can manage the website and app design process including updates.

Right now, I have a number of other projects and a full time job that are hogging my attention. I'm really looking for a partner that sees the value in the resources I bring to the table. What I'm offering is basically a professional radio station in a box, but we have the chance to do it right - with no advertising in-between songs. Please note, I'm not looking to get started tomorrow. I think trust is very important and I would like to establish that with any potential partner before this business relationship becomes too involved. If you're interested or would like more information, I would love to hear from you. Thanks!
