If the dot com is taken what is the next best option or should you just go to a different name?

the dot com of the domain I am looking at is just an advertisement page no content.

1st - .com ( it comes from comercial and thats google about to promote your bussines)
2nd- .org ( it comes from non-profit organization)
    3rd- .net ( network)

.info suckss ( hard to rank)

if you dont have exact com domain i suggest you add something like site or blog after keyword

    i hope it helps :p

    Hi Nosence,

It's generally believed that org and net are your best bets, especially from the perspective of search engine rankings.

Info domains are supposedly much harder to rank, and should probably be a last resort. It can sometimes convey an impression of 'spamminess' due to its low cost and the number of poor quality info sites which people throw up.
