.com, .net, .org = .seizable ..... Advice Please!

    Hi BHWers

    In the light of this new law allowing the US to seize any domain
    which is registered via Verizon (all .coms and .nets) I'm now planning to
    move my site to a new domain, maybe .eu or .ru.

    I don't want to leave it too late because if my domain gets seized
    before I make the switch it'll be too late to 301 all my pages and I'll
    lose my rankings.

    Does anyone have experience in migrating to a new domain?

    I know how to do it in Webmaster tools, but does anyone know
    how my rankings will be affected and how long for?

    (My site is pharma related, I don't even ship to US but I'm not risking
    keeping my .com because I'd shit it if my site suddenly looked like
