I have created a college nich site that will be targeted directly to college campuses across the US. I am looking for people that have affiliate products that they want to sell to college students on a college campus. If you are just learning affiliate product links. I would suggest getting an Amazon affiliate account. You go to the main site ans scroll to the bottom under the heading, "Make money with us", second one down, Join Associates. Then think of items you want to sell from amazon. The site accepts all kinds of links. Once you get as many products as you want set up you just wait for me to promote the site. As I dump every dollar I have into SEO and online advertising, you will have a chance to earn some affiliated commissions from your products and at the same time, help me fill up the site with things for them to look at to keep them there longer. I relize I could do this all my self but it would be faster if I offered it out to you guys. So if you PM me ill give you the URL to my site and help you with any questions with setting up. All in all, it's a kinda you help me help you help me gig :D.

    Hi there,

I have posted a couple of threads on here asking for advice on what ideal products to promote to students at college/university etc. Sounds like you have an excellent plan going here and I would like to know more. I havn't really looked at Amazon but if you're able to advise me on products that students are most likely to purchase via Amazon I would definitely be interested. I notice you are only targeting students in the US, and I am from New Zealand, but if you think this idea would work on an international basis pm me with more details. Because I am halfway around the world I am not sure in international sites like Amazon would work for "brick and mortar" products as the shipping rates to NZ would be huge. I go to uni every day (apart from the weekend) and have thought of posting flyers as there is a huge amount of foot traffic, especially near lecture theatres. If there was a product in high demand by students and I could design an attractive enough poster (I know how to use Photoshop etc but am more into coding) then there is the potential to make some $$$.

I just had an idea pass through my head (which I know is definitely not new to BHW) that I could buy a domain name and set up a site that promotes student-targeted products from Amazon. There are probably several sites out there where people can join up and automatically have a shopping site created for them (I briefly dealt with http://www.profitmart.com/ a few years back) but would like to find something that specifically promotes student related products (whether some tweaking can be done in the pre made shopping sites' I'm not sure).

Anything School related small list: Computers, laptops, cars, apartments, condos, kindles, cell phones, books any higher end products so you can make enough profit to pay the shipping or I would make the buyer pay for shipping costs. Amazon pretty much just gives you a link for a products and if they click it and buy it you get a % of the cost of the items as commission. I have built an authority site where i am directing all local traffic at college campuses to the site. So right now I need help publishing content on my site. Best way is to let people post affiliate links IMO. Works great for me as you are helping me gain rank by publishing new content and I am pushing college students to the site with advertising and SEO. So they will see your products first. I have posted some but I'm less interested in that as I am running adsense for my self and the site is generally free for the college community. I am doing most of the SEO work my self and between that and my current job I don't have as much time as id liek to post my own affiliate links. I have learned so much here I can give back to you guys let you post your affiliate links on my site. helps me a lot and it will help you too as the traffic I push to the site sees your affiliate links first. Just fyi there are a lot of college's best to buckle down on 2 or 3. In about 1-2 weeks I will have updated the site for even faster postings. Right now its time consuming and it helps detour automated systems. PM me and I will reply with the site URL so you can sign up. Also give me your email and I will unlock your account to post with features. Thanks all for your help so far and those of you that will help in the future!

Edit: to further better answer your question amazon also ranks it's products and gives you a good ammount of data as an affiliate to help you pick products. At the moment any affiliate links are welcome the nich is college students so what ever you think they will buy. I'm looking for people to post their affiliate links on my site.

This sounds interesting. How long do you plan to leave our links up there? IS this just for you to test while you concentrate on SEO?

Can you PM me the URL? Is the site primarily male or female visitors?

AS I understand it, we can do any affiliate products, you are just suggesting Amazon, correct?

Good questions, to be more specific I would like to allow only a certain number of people to post affiliate links. Once I have enough interested I will limit the amount of posts each person can make and I would like to have active users regularly perusing these affiliate links every 3 months or so. Any affiliate is fine with me as long as its for respectable products and services. If I see something I don't like, I will send you and email. I would prefer we stick with the college niche and local products and services would be ideal but not required.

Yes I only suggested amazon affiliate, as it is what I have used to post affiliate links my self. I'm sure there are affiliate gurus here that can continue some posts and further help as we go along.

As this will be a kind of dedication to my brand. I would like to invite anyone willing to put in the effort to post their affiliate links on my site. My site is huge and there is an area for each college in the US. In short as long as you the affiliate poster and me can keep a good relationship for helping me, I'd like to keep all that help me with content. I'd like to designate on a first come first serve basis what college markets you would like to post in. You would be best served posting in your local area but we can always make exceptions based on the affiliated link products and services. Most I will have to work out individually and as time passes. For now I am much more liberal. But a better base idea of what we are trying to do, will be for each poster to fine tune their affiliates. Again you are all helping me by publishing content on my site so I want to help you keep your market on a first come first serve basis. Also as more people jump on board I can see what products you guys are posting and add that into my SEO/advertising campaign. Once more people get on board we can discuss targeting of the products and services more individually. I am of course keeping track of everyone that helps and thank you guys this should be a decent stream of income in the near future for us all. For now it will mainly be up to you, the poster, where and what. If you have requests after you have signed up on the site and reviewed it for your self PM me.

I can't post links and I'd rather keep it private in PMs on BHW. I have followed this forum for a long time and it has helped me quite a bit. So I would like to help this community. So just send me a PM if your interested and I'll send the Link and you can sign up but please make sure you give me the email you use so I know who you are. If you don't get written approval from me to post affiliate links on my site you will violate the terms. I will provide this to all from BHW up to my predetermined limit of posters. Also I will make features on the site free for all my affiliate posters from this forum. I need to recruit people that understand these basic concepts and if you've been reading around on BHW and you have affiliates your the person that can help.

Hey there. I am new here and do not have enough posts to send PMs. Can you PM me the site URL instead?

I have been targeting college students for the last 4 years. Email is my preferred weapon of choice. I can target one out of every 4 college kids in the country tomorrow morning if I needed to via their .edu emails. Wondering if we can work together.

Once again, there is no way for me to send PMs right now.

    Much appreciated.
