I'm Daniel, gonna be 15 years old in a month, from Bulgaria.

I've been working on a project, I need to cold call US companies and in essence just try to sell them marketing consulting services. At this point my voice is deep enough, but it's still not fully developed. My accent is slightly Bulgarian, although I'm working on improving, and it's making me kind of anxious. I just wanted to get your advice.

I'm a newbie, but I want to start from somewhere, and I wanna start right now while it's still summer vacation so I can spend more time. I know a lot of things about marketing, but I haven't found myself implementing that much.. Any tips? Should I give cold calling a shot, despite being very young and inexperienced?

read the section labeled beginner over here^

i usually write pretty detailed replies for newbies but i'm tired of writing them again and again.

i would suggest you to do this.

click my name, click profile, over there click the ' information ' tab. click ' find all CONTENT by speedhawk45 '

i have helped out beginners like you in my replies to those threads. read every one of them, one of them will be a pretty damn big reply to a beginner and it's worth reading.
first stalk me and read my replies, then, and only then follow what i have said as i have linked to several methods and several tricks on using the forum.
    you'll start understanding things then.

and pm me if you want more details on how to start, but only when you don't get anything out of stalking me.

$185 per month for managing US restaurants' social media pages and potentially increasing their audience. I forgot to mention, I will have a virtual US phone number set up.

Do some cold calling despite inner fear; fail, get experience, fail, get better, and then capture leads. If you want it badly, you will succeed.

p.s Write down different scripts that your dialogue could eventually end up in, and follow along. Should help.

Keep doing it and keep your head up. Cold calling can be hard, but if you conquer the mental stress that comes with it. You will build a pipeline that should convert to sales.

Make 75 call every day for 4 months straight. By then you're going to answer most of your questions. It'll just figure itself out. Rule of thumb is that what you are doing at the current time was effected by what you did 3 months ago.

Overtime you'll learn what you need to fix and become better with objections.

Don't be lazy. Know that you are interrupting people. Find out howto overcome any situation you are put in. Every conversation is different -- every person is different. Sometimes you just can't sell somebody.

Don't be sound like a sales guy. Don't bring up price on the first phone call.

Some days are hard. They just are. You are going to get hung up on, yelled out, etc. -- It would be abnormal not to feel upset.

Keep in mind they need to love the following three things to buy: You, the company, and the product.

Read. Watch videos. And follow sales information on social media so you can surround yourself around it and keep growing. If you're 15 and cold calling -- It's going to be hard to find friends that can relate to what you are going through.

*** Don't worry about your accent and your voice. Nobody is going to say anything about it. And if they do .. you don't want to do business with them anyway ***

Cold calling is not the way to go in my opinion. You will have a hard time getting businesses to trust a random stranger on the phone with their social media pages, + pay you $185

You need a "value ladder" and a funnel. Read the book DotCom secrets by russel brunson

You know what you have to lose if you try?

    Nothing?

You know what you have to gain?

    Learning what could work.

Pick the phone up and get going... see what works, tweak what does not and write down notes so you have your own library of information as to what works and what does not.

    Pick the phone up now.

I forgot to give you the greatest secret in the world:

    Call early.

This is when you will get the higher ups on the phone and it will be before any of the meetings or any other employees come in. I start cold calling at 7 in the morning. The rest of the workers get in here at 9AM. By 9AM C-level, directors, and managers are overloaded with calls, e-mails, meeting, etc. that they'll never pick up the phone.

If you are a 15 year old noob then what services will you be offering them?
Are you outsourcing or are you qualified to provide those services?
If you are cold calling the US from Bulgaria, who is paying your telephone bill?
Why can't you call local businesses in your country and offer them the same services?

    2. I can manage accounts.
    3. Paying for a virtual phone number myself with money I've earned
    4. Bulgaria is a small third world country, won't have success doing anything here.

Personally, if you are unqualified and not outsourcing then you should master the service you are offering before attempting to get clients.
This is my opinion, others might think it is OK for you to practice at the service using your clients sites ... I don't think that is right.
Learn how to manage your own accounts then offer the service to clients. You will need to invest in tools from the start.
Also never think you can't make money in a third world country, you need to learn to identify opportunities. Never write something off because of a lack of knowledge.

You think Bulgaria is third world, you obviously never been to Blackpool.

I'm don't know what you sound like on the phone, but most people in the UK will hang up on a cold call within seconds, and if you have a foreign and young voice, you don't stand a chance. Your phone bill will way exceed any income.

I think I understood wrongly, I can manage social media accounts and I have experienced in it actually. By not qualified, I meant that I don't have any official qualifications in marketing.
