Hi, I'm new to this forum..but I can ready tell that it looks great! Anyway, back to the matter of the topic, I have TubeIncreaser but the thing is I use CoDeen proxies. When I ran them through a test this is what was displayed:

live CoDeeN proxy, type undetected - United States

I guess that's good right, so can I use it? And also, a few of the proxies show up as transparent, or timed out. If I use those will Youtube catch me out?

And the final question, has anyone used the TubeThunder demo? I was wondering if I could just keep using that to generate views. Ok, well thanks anyway!

The CoDeen type proxies are the easiest to block, many major sites already do. I always avoid them.

Codeen proxies are run by a network of (mostly) universities for a particular project. Though they are for the most part anonymous (provided they test that way) Planetlab/Codeen makes a point to keep logs of all usage of their network. So if you do anything they don't like, you will definitely be noticed.

That being said, they DEFINITELY work with Tube Increaser.

I don't like them. You can't log in with a codeen proxy to site you want to spam :)

Oh, so if I use them I am guaranteed not to be caught by YouTube? Thanks for the answers folks! :D
 
They work for view increasing. There are no guarantees.

the one thing they are good at is consistantly letting you down when you are in dire need of a working proxy. give it a shot but just know everything is being logged and you will be blocked by tons of shit you need/want

All accesses via CoDeeN are logged, mostly to aid in identifying abuse and other forms of damage control. We sometimes monitor these logs, report abuse, and release entries to aid in investigations. In case of suspicious traffic, we may access URLs from the logs to determine what kind of content is passing through our network. We are also using these logs in our own research, so they may be examined as needed for non-abuse reasons. For normal users, we do not expect that we will intentionally release any personally-identifying information. To prevent abuse, some sites have requested we pass along the client IP addresses, and these are included with every request forwarded to those sites.

Use at your own risk and so, as far as I am concerned, DON'T BOTHER!

CoDeen Proxies can be used for view spoofing since they don't send the Proxy-Connection or any other proxy related header; but the CoDeen network has two features that make it annoying for view spoofing.

1:) First connection with the proxy is sent to a place holder page notifying you that you are using the CoDeen network; it redirects you to your page in short order... but if your timeout is very short, the first round of views will be wasted.

2:) The CoDeen Network is a caching and distribution network... the IP you connect to may not be the machine that's serving you the data, and it may be serving you a cached copy.
