Is there any value in them? Am I right in thinking that effectively they are all sub-domains as far as google and the like is concerned?

I've read up on this, and as I thought google do treat these as subdomains, but not only that, apparently they have hidden links and display your content in a frame etc. So they can actually get penalised by google etc. through no fault of your own.

I use them, good enough,
Good affiliate too
But it still sub-domain, and looks not proffesional

It's not the professional side I'm bothered about, if everything you do is a sub-domain are you risking all your sites (and alot of other peoples) being treated as one.

I have some co.cc domain, my case is:
mydomain1.co.cc is free hosting hosting, so people can create xxx.mydomain1.co.cc
mydomain2.co.cc is just a blog
mydomain3.co.cc is being banned by google

mydomain2 and 3 are backlink to 1

Eventhough mydomain3.co.cc is being banned, mydomain1 is still good and doesn't affected.

I used them a lot when I test things, for three or four months. When something works you promoted it to paying domain and hosting.

i got a couple of co.cc domains about 2 months ago
i use them for affiliate things and also for Cpa review and get accepted everytime
also In those short months i have managed to get a PR of 2 and listed in the front page of google

work ur ass of and make 10$.. get a new domain and then u will make 100's $$

i had some domains too. but got banned.

i recommend them for testing it might help. and you dont need to spend $$ yet....

Tell you what, I'll set up a couple of domains one .co.cc and one .info (closest alternative) with the same domain, and similar unique content. Then report back in a few eeks, what do you recon? Anybody else fancy trying a similar experiment.
