    Hello BHW,
I read that .cn domains are in second place after dot com domains.
they are on sale for 0.99 cents does anyone know if it's a good idea to buy these domains to market non-china products ?

what about optimization is it a plus or negative?

    Thanks in Advance,

The only reason why they are in second is because there are over a billion Chinese people. Stick with the .coms where-ever possible, people trust and recognize the .com over anything else. If you want to market to China or Chinese people it might be a good investment though.

Also .cn's were like 17 cents until recently. It's not even that it's a good domain, it's because it was cheaper than a .info.
