CLP2 faking the referrer

If you're faking referrer I would recommend just using the timer function and not postback.
 
And how will I know if the person have completed the offer that way? From your post I understand that there is a way to use the postback. I'd appreciate if you point me to some info how to do it.

I've split tested timer vs postback and never noticed a difference in conversions.

We don't officially support the fake referrer feature so your best bet is to ask in the forum or ask support nicely. I don't deal with technical support I'm afraid.
 
One last question, if you don't mind. What time to you set up for the timer? Let's say if I'm using e-mail submits and 1-2 page offers.
 
the biggest problem i see with postback and faking the referrer is why would you have tons of random subids for traffic you are generating from one location (fake referred site)

I want to check if the offer is completed and then the CL to be unlocked.

I know why you want it, but might raise trouble for you but its simple.

just add your url like normal with the fake script attached.

that is http://fakescripter.com/?http://cpalink.com/subid

that should still pass your subid along and fire back to your clp, if you worried about them seeing your clp url then use a middleman script send the postback to that script and then fire it off from their to your clp postback.
