    Hello everybody,

Welcome to my journey! For a while now I've always found social media marketing my favourite part of IM. From this, I've been able to create a Facebook page with 102k likes, 12k likes, 5k likes and 3k likes. In addition to this, I've also got a twitter with 6k followers and an Instagram that I made yesterday that is currently at 347 followers. I've also discovered I actually enjoy designing things on Photoshop and using my creativity to think up cool designs. Due to this, and the fact I'd genuinely like to start my own fairly whitehat business, I've decided to create my own apparel business in a specific niche that I may reveal later.

My initial plan is to create the brand and drive customers purely on social media traffic, to give the business a foundation while I work on other things such as SEO and organic traffic, as well as potential paid traffic too (depending on ROI). Through driving traffic through social media, I will also capture emails of customers and visitors on the website and build an email list. This list will again be another foundation of the brand, full of people interested in our products and returning customers, meaning whenever we launch a new design/product or have something on offer, we can alert the people it concerns most. The social media networks I plan on using to drive traffic are:

    • Facebook: Page 1 - 102k likes (not niche related)
    • Facebook: Page 2 - 12k likes (not niche related)
    • Facebook: Page 3 - 5k likes (not niche related)
    • Facebook: Page 4 - 3k likes (not niche related)
    • Instagram - 347 likes (niche related)
    • Twitter - 6358 followers (niche related)
    • Pinterest - Yet to create an account

As you can see, all my Facebook pages aren't related to the niche of my business, however I will still be promoting the business on there and attempting to filter out people genuinely interested in it, and hopefully get a customer or at least get them on our email list. Due to the Facebook pages not being related to the niche of my business, I will not be tracking the likes on this journey. I will however be tracking followers on my niche related Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts. I will also be tracking email subscribers, sales and revenue.

I didn't want this to be just another idea with empty intentions, so I've therefore already taken action. I've created 3 of my first 8 designs and sourced a dropshipper in which offers all the products and services I require. I will be profiting by around $6.20 per item sold. Once everything is up and functioning, I'll start setting revenue targets. Things I need to do for now are...

    • Finish last 5 designs
    • Sign up for aweber
    • Create website and fill store with products
    • Create a Pinterest account, learn to use it and drive targeted traffic
    • Continue to grow Twitter and Instagram accounts

Fail or succeed, I really hope you guys enjoy this journey and learn something new. Please feel free to offer advice and constructively criticise where you see fit, and ultimately help us both continue our IM learning process. For the Twitter and Instagram growth, I'm following the 'follow people in your niche in the hopes they follow back' method so if anybody has any alternative methods or bots they recommend, that'd be great! Thank you guys.

    Current Stats:
    Twitter followers - 6358
    Instagram followers - 347
    Email subscribers - 0
    Sales - 0
    Profit - $0.00

Awesome. I'll be following, good luck!

Are you using a bot already for twitter and instagram or doing it manually?

I've never used any instagram bots, but I've had good luck with tweetadder in the past

Thanks buddy! Currently doing it manually for Twitter and Instagram however I'm definitely looking at a bot/software to assist me.

Thanks man, I hope you enjoy and learn something new!

Thanks dude, it won't die I can assure you that, haha! Currently focusing on Europe atm however my dropshipper ships worldwide, so specific demographics or region targeting isn't really a factor for me.

Luke, I can recommend you PinBlaster for Pinterest automation. I gained 1k followers in approximatly 5-6 days to 2 of my fresh new accounts.

I love fashion niche. Images speed for themselves. You need to find the best images from your supplier, affiliate network or what you going to promote. But I'd advise you to do this work with a female companion as she loves fashion, all women loves clothes, they stay in front of the mirror for at least 1 hour to try out clothes before going somewhere.

By the help of a girl/women who can select the products for you to promote you'll do wonders.

I hope this helps a bit. And I highly recommend PinBlaster. Been using it since the beginning of this year, and I can't complain.

What do you need for PinBlaster:
    • Pinterest account
    • Girl image at avatar
    • Lots of boards with at least 20 pins on each board. Boards should be like 15-20.
    • Proxy (you can find here on BHW)
    • VPS or a good PC.

I am not affiliated with PinBlaster software, I just use it and it simply does wonders.

    Good luck!

I like the cut of your jib.
Based on what you've said, you could even write a guide on 'how to build a social media presence' as you defo seem to know what you're doing and give it away free to members who leave lovely warm comments on your posts. :D
