Hi there,
I have an existing site that unfortunately uses a trademarked name in the URL. I've gotten a complaint from the company asking me to shut down the site. I'm a newbie, so this is lesson learned as far as using a trademark on the url.
My question to you all: is there a way for me to salvage the linkjuice already built up so far and pass it unto a new site? I was thinking maybe a permanent redirect. Although I'm not sure how this could work and whether the resulting situation would be acceptable to the complaining firm.
If you have any experience or knowledge in this area, I'd appreciate you sharing it.
