Can anyone tell me where to look for an idiots guide to cloaking ?

Just look for a cloaking website. For example, there is tinyurl. You input your link and it spits outs a much better and shorter address. Harro in one post, maybe more, went with notlong(dot)com. There is also a member, who I can't remember, of BHW that created a site for just this purpose also. Although I have NOT tried it, I am fairly sure it will do the job. Hopefully, he will answer this thread.

There are many options for you to try. Try the Big G and see what you come up with. I think you find a suitable solution.

Affiliate Link cloaking or web site cloaking-ip redirecting.?
If its link cloaking, try 'namestick' site.
Its a pretty slick service..
If you mean site cloaking, look up Dans 'kloakit' site which describes everything pretty well.
