I've done clickbank before and I'm well aware of the ability to direct link, but I've branched off to different networks and I'm wondering about the whole direct linking thing. I just got accepted as an affiliate of an advertiser on commission junction, and I haven't seen anything saying you can or can't direct link in their program terms (I emailed asking if i can). Lets say I go on social media and get some sales doing direct linking and this is prohibited, how do they find out? and if they do, how do you cloak your links so they don't see?

I read of a guy who made 100's of $ doing this but they didn't pay him a cent cause he was direct linking, I don't wanna be that guy.

Well you can direct link but will ad network accept your direct link to an affiliate network?

    The answer is clearly NO.

Better read the cloaking section and go thru all covered topics.
