    Hey membz,

I am looking into cloaking mass amount of pages but i was wondering about how the bouncerate would interfere with my ranks since peepz are automatically redirected?

Anyone with an decent answer would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Well, if you intend on using some cloaking technique, which will probably fool Google bots and others, why using Google Analytics and caring about Bounce Rate in the first place ?

Besides, if users are redirected (well it's obvious), your analytics code wont load at all, since I assume you'll be using some 301 redirects which are server side, whereas google analytics code (and others) are client side. Therefore, your bounce rate wont even get affected, since the redirected users wont count as users at all in the analytics software.

    Hi MrBlackjack,

Maybe you got me wrong, but i dont use Google Analytics at all. My question was mainly because of the fact that the longer people stay on your site and click stuff it also gives us a SEO benefit. How small it may be...

Since peepz are automatically redirected to an offer or something, my bouncerates go down the drain lolz...

Since i am not into cloaking YET but do have a sh*tload of WP affiliate posts all over the web its pretty important for me since i don't want to ruin my current rankings.

It doesnt really matter if you use G-analytics or other analytics software, the fact that people using your site, clicking and navigating wont affect your rankings at all, unless you'll use Google analytics - a tool which will give Google specific details of the users' engagement on your site and thus will probably help google (which is the one who ranks) get more data on your site. But, my knowledge and experience over the years suggests that neither bounce rate nor user's behavior on your site even help your sites' ranking at all.

Besides, Bounce Rate is a term meant for describing a user who visits your site first, and then leave it. You are redirecting the users, which means, they are not even visiting your site, which means no bounce will ever happen.

    @ MrBlackjack:
Thanks for the info but i think we both understand each other not correctly since english is not my first language. (Thats why i have writers lolz). My experience is somewhat different regarding the extra juice you'll get with a decent activity on a site. Your spot on with your last sentence ;)

    @ Mudbutt:
Thanks man, just the info i needed.
