Hi all, my question is quite stright over:

let's assume that you want to push a person on the SERP, this person name could be for example "Larry Smith".

Larry has some links related to himself : his personal website, his facebook "larry.smith" and some other links he would like to view in first page when someone search for "larry smith" on google.

let's assume also that there are some more "larry smith", all with some pages, but none of them are doing SEO in any way, and actually, if someone search for "larry smith" the first result is from the facebook page of one of this others.

we could describe the result of the search "larry smith" like this

    1) facebook of NOTlarry
    2) blog of REALlarry
    3) facebook of REALlarry
    4) website of REALlarry
    5) g+ of REALlarry
    6) Article about NOTlarry (article about tennis, in wich NOTlarry win a match)
    7) Article about NOTlarry (article about tennis, same as above)
    8) Youtube of NOTlarry
    9) Youtube of REALlarry

i have done a lot of pages, on the website of Larry, using microformats and i've done a lot of article marketing trying to push up the REALlarry website, i've done also some landing pages around the web (google pages, some blogs etc) describing REALlarry and trying to get the SERP with the "Larry smith".

NOW, i hate those other result of NOTlarry... expecially the first one which is from facebook. I really want to push it down it, and those 6 and 7 position. anyone has some kind of idea, trick or whatever? or the point is only to continue to push up other results, with article marketing, landings and blog activities?

How active are u on those profiles will determine how you rank. If your profiles are well maintained, then you will rank above.

well, that's not so important, but, by the way no, i'm try to push "larry" ( a client ) but of course i would like not to tell here his real identity. the point is that i would like to discuss the way to handle homonymies, wich are really a problem becouse they "catch" the work you do on a particular keyword, it must be handled on a micro balck seo manner, in order to push down ONLY those links surgically :D

the profile are quite active, my goal is to push down expecially the facebbok ones, conisdering the larry has larry.smith as username on facebook, while NOTlarry has for example Bongus33 (so not connected with the real name and probabily more easy to push down)

as far as i can see, there is now good way to push down facebook results, my ideas are from making some alternate SEO on them, like using some other names or contents wich are in no way connected to the real larry ones, or simply, push up many many many other good results...
umpf... i can think a way to push down them :/

I do lot of this stuff when keyword is someones name. In my opinion high rankings in google in this kind of keywords gets mostly official twitter account of the person, then facebook profiles and pages. But in google ranks pretty high also pinterest boards with your name as board name, also it is sometimes quite easy to rank youtube videos with the name as name of video.
My facebook pages ranks always good if it has high number of fans, but maybe activity is also important.

I guess there is no real competition for the name you are trying to rank. Some basic link building would do the job.

You can't effectively "push down" links from super authority sites like FB and Twitter.

Create more social profiles for the real Larry.
