    Hi,

So this client was purchasing different kind of services from me. However, last service was for ~$300 and he paid only 50% upfront and yet haven't paid the rest 50% (More than 3 weeks already).

I guess I can fuck him and his website, but he is still eligible for a chargeback for the previous services he ordered from me. It's strange that he started ignoring me, since we were getting along perfectly, which resulted in him ordering more than just a few services from me. However, he started ignoring me recently and yet havent paid what he owes me for more than 3 weeks.

He used Paypal for these payments.

    Ideas?

Keep mailing him saying that you need the money urgently for something. Be polite all the way.

Kidnap his family and ask for the money. But be polite about it, don't want to scare away a future customer..

Seriously though just keep nagging him and make it sound urgent like g0g0l said. He could have legitimately missed your emails/forgot so it's a bit too early to start being aggressive.

Just send him a polite reminder.

Businesses are used to paying 30-90 days after delivery, what terms did you set?

Can you get his address through PayPal? If so just throw a brick through his window ;)

Just keep sending him messages, if he doesn't respond after a week, then consider maybe threatening to attack his site. It doesn't sound professional but then again he sounds like a scammer, so it would be karma.

Is he a member of BHW?

Theres lot of ways to chase payment depending on the situation. In your position I would use the good news/bad news switch that works for small businesses.

Send him an email with a great future offer.

    Dear client,

I have just completed testing a great new service that has rocketed business for the five sites I have tested it on.

I am offering a free test to my long term customers and you qualify,*(you are now useful to him and not somebody he wants to ignore)

Finish off your offer with "by the way accounts are telling me they never received your october payment could you just have a recheck to see it went through ?)

    Many thanks

    blah blah blah

He is not a business. It's an individual with a website.

The brick work wont work. Hes in another country.

No, he is not a member of BHW. He is a complete nooby actually.

This is actualyl a really good advice, thank you!
