ClickBank Product Help

Hi guys, I have a quick question for you all.

I see a product in ClickBank that offers $26.96 per sale. I wanted to click around on the offer to see their landing page and offer as I do not want to promote something that reduces trust for my site / what I'm trying to do.

As it turns out the landing page I promote is offering a FREE guide via email when name and email address are entered. Once the email arrives there is a free PDF with links that are not so obvious to a PAID eBook for $37

My question is: Do I get paid for the lead / i.e. sending them a user that enters their name and email address OR do I get paid if the user gets the free book and decides to buy the other version?

I fear the second option is too many hoops for my users to go through in order for me to get paid.

Thoughts?

My personal suggestion is do not promote clickbank products that has too obvious opt-in on the landing page (or opt-in at all), you'll end up selling nothing while buiding a nice list for your publisher...
