Hello my friends. I have a new review site for clickbank products. The domain is renewed expired domain with good backlinks and pr1. I wrote about 15 reviews on it and ordered articles for the other products.
    I have experience with clickbank.

I want to share some data:
From 15 July till now has made 230$ in commisions. But only 2 sales from 10 sales is made from the links to buy. The other is from my popup. So if i hadn`t have this popup i would make only 45$!

Commission $230 with 10 sales? And how many hops did you get in making 10 sales with the CB?

    $230 with 10 sales = $23/sale. Fairly standard

Interesting, I didn't think popups would still work that good I generally close them immediately and never read what they have to say no matter what, it seems not all people do that :) nice share.

Exit pop-ups work! We use them for all our products (as vendors), and they convert about 10-20% of exiting visitors (ie. ppl who would otherwise not have purchased).

Exit pop-ups with ClickBank are an absolute gold mine! One idea is to introduce scarcity e.g. Offer closing soon div over a screenshot of the actual products homepage

    (example) 1345.jpg

Then the other key is ensuring that you are providing offers relevant to the page / site as well :)

Exit popups works fine? Well I think that a lot of people block them too.
Personally I like to convert people using remarketing later :)

The idea is that it's better to use as many methods as you can but still keep a clean and non-invasive look and feel of the website. So this is why I'm telling you, why not go for exit-popups in the same time as remarketing for example? Why shouldn't you use both methods instead of one? :D

It actually helps being a vendor of the product. Then you can downsell with poups all those who want to buy, but could not afford it or those who still on the fence.

Is this an exit popup or popup that appears at the beginning? Did it effect the ranking of your website ?

I doubt there would be a negative effect on the websites rankings.
