Is it true you need at least 5 sales, from at least 2 different credit cards before you can be paid?

as mentioned here:

I thought it was 3 different products. I know they have weird policies on your first payout. Jerks. :(

you can just get paid with one sale...

Customer Distribution Requirement
ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:

Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.

Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date.

Yes you need to make 5 sales with atleast 1 master card and 1 visa card.paypal sales don't count as credit card sales.For example: you will make 5 sales with 3 pay pal sales,1 visa and 1 master card now you are qualified for 1st payment in clickbank or if you make 4 paypal sales 1 visa card ,you won't get payment,you must complete mastercard also.Best Of Luck
 
that's retarded... do they not know that VISA makes up like 80% of purchases?
 
Clickbank is aware of the fact people can buy products tru there own affiliatelinks. I think this rule is a smart way to slow down people doing this.

Ah, I see - that was my sole intention...to buy Bookmarking Demon there, so I can get 50% off.

Can anyone buy it for me, and I'll pay you, plus a fee?
 
You can use your own affiliate id to buy but still you need 5 sales with mastercard/visa to get paid and the min must be $100 and that sucks!

But I don't plan on using CB, until I get 5 sales.

I just wanted to use it once for the discount to buy BMD
 
Lets say you use my hop link and buy BMD from me. I will then give you a discount of $30 or so. You then go and claim a refund. Keep $30 + a copy of BMD + your money back. This is a classic DP scam.

If you trust me I can send you $30 or so after I receive my cheque. Should take 2 weeks max.

lol - you're looking too deep into this.

I have no intentions to cheat anyone, I just want to buy BMD - and get a discount. and not have to pay full price, $150

We can use escrow.com, or any other secure means of exchange.
 
I have been rejected from the clickbank for what reason i dont know....every CPA accepted but only clickbank refused to accept....any trick to get it approved???

Really?! I didn't even think it was possible to not get approved by ClickBank. Try to apply again with a different email.

Very weird, CB accepts applications automatically. Re-apply again, it's easy but they sucks.

You think this is retarded. Try Click2Sell. They have a policy that your product won't even get onto their marketplace until you've sold a copy of it. This is no good for the product creator who wishes to use affiliates only to market the product. The only way around this to get your product onto Click2Sell is to get a mate to by your product through your click2Sell salespage, then you get put on the market place. Alternatively pay Click2Sell to review your product, but that is no guarantee if your product and sales pages are crap.
I have agree the 5 sales and 2 different credit card policy of clickbank sucks, I've already lost what commissions I had because nobody used a credit card.

BrianO, you must be thinking of Commission Junction, no CB qualification is required. CB's only req is the screwy hoops you have to jump through to get your first check.
