    Hello Guy's,

Well I have been struggling to make money online for about 3 months now. It's not about the resources and information, matter of fact it's about me... I have this thing that keeps me off the track all the time. I mean I usually find some excuses not to start making some extra cash. I guess I will be motivated at the time, when I will be making some money and collecting paychecks from my mailbox, but that's another story.

Now I made this thread, because I believe it will keep me on track... I have seen plenty of success threads and I love to read them all, interesting how people react when they see their results of hard work and dedication. As I mentioned before I lack in motivation status, that's why I'm asking to bare with me on this one. I really believe that it's a start for something new. Also I hope that new members who are struggling like me will find something useful in this thread and will motivate them to go further.

Alright enough about that... I will tell you what I will be using in order to succeed. My goal is to make $500-$1000 till the end of July or so, trough Clickbank and bum marketing, and of course some black hat... shhh! Alright well I hope I will be able to accomplish that even tho I haven't made any money online, well yea' I have been flipping few articles, but it made me few bucks and that's it... Alright so 2 months of hard work and I want to see $500-$1000 in my account.

Right now I have a domain name and have chosen a clickbank product which I will be promoting, we will see results... hopefully it will be a goldmine for me. No I don't have a landing page, I haven't made a squidoo either, I will send my traffic to domain that I have bought and then it will send users to my affiliate hoplink. Anyways I will be using Ezine and Yahoo answers to promote it.

maan I will follow this thread with interest... really..

    A tip upfront:
man don't be discouraged.. It is probable, that in the beginning many of your articles won't be submitted by ezinearticles or other directories.. but the worst thing you could do is give up.. just rewrite them the same day they get rejected and resubmit them!

and whatever you do, don't stop writing articles.. write every day at least one article and I promise you'll get your goal within one month...

Wow didn't expect that kind of response. :) I mean as "specopkirbs" mentioned, there are threads like this popping up each minute, that's why I was a bit scared about the reaction from you guys... and all this inspires me to begin my journey and that's what I was looking for. Thank You!!!

Expect updates on my journey tomorrow at this time.

    Best regards,
    Sn1per

Since you are doing article marketing may I suggest you check out One Week Marketing. You can find it in the downloads section. It breaks out a daily to-do list of what you should be doing. OWM does it with articles, a web domain and squidoo pages.

What I especially like about this thread is that you put it out there for all of us to see. We all need accountability for what we want to do and the goals we want to achieve. So now you have to follow through just to save face. Just don't quit!!!

hi i have started to promote some clickbanks project myself in the last 2 months, im not very glad with results but i can do better if my domaine get in the first page of google:D (i checked today my 2month old domains and its in the page 7 and the page 3 in yahoo and i thik thats not bad with a new domain)
this is what i have done to get this results(maybe thats gonna help you)

i have Started by hiring some writers for good articles ,hired a DP mmember to submit them to more than 250 articles directory (with my domains on them), getting a squidoo lense ,blogger blog , wordpress blog, hubpage with the keywords you want to rank with in include your domain with every page of them , try to drive some traffic with adwords.. (you can buy some cheap vouchers for that)
hope thats gonna help you to start:)
    Good luck

Edit: Dont forget to build an attractive landing page

I'm glad that you've realized that focus is key.

My best advice to you is focus on promotion at a time.

Also, be sure to track, test, and keep a journal of your business activities.

This will help you stay on track in the long run.

    Good Luck!

thisoldhat is right on the money as usual.

Breaking things down is a great way to keep motivated.

When you just sit and think about what you have to do, you will get overwhelmed.

But once you break it down, and take a look at it, it's not as bad as you initially think it is. This way of thinking will also help you stay focused on what you have to do everyday in order to complete your goals.

Thanks for posting this thread, as this is the first one of its kind I've seen here on BHW.

Like you, I too find many things (Besides having A.D.D.) that derail my IM goals, however, I've started to try and work through them by getting as much done per day as I can, even if it is just getting one 300+/- article written and submitted to EZA. (Mind you, I've been trying to make money in my own IM business for well over two years now!)

I'm at a point now in my life now that I can say 'can't get any worse' and I've literrally hit rock bottom. Unlike you, I don't even have the necessary funds to get a domain name and cheap web hosting, so for now, I'm using Web 2.0 resources, such as Blogger.com, Wordpress.com and Squidoo.com; as well as some Bum Marketing of course.

I tend to find myself doing more work and staying more focused when I'm working in a 'team environment', but as you know, when you're a IM'er and whether or not you've got a spouse, girl-friend or 'significant other', you're usually a 'one man show', which not many folks can handle being when starting out in Internet Marketing.

If you're up to it, let's hook up outside of BHW and see if we can't feed off of each other to see which one of us reaches their goals first. Like you, I too am trying to reach the $500 to $1,000 plateu w/in 30 days. I think it would be a good way to keep each of us accountable for our daily activities. If not, no big deal, as I was just throwing it out there as an idea.

Good luck and I'll be following along to this thread every day!

    To your success...

I just started my little journey as well. I submitted 12 articles to ezinearticles in 24 hours. I'm experimenting with free blogs instead of buying a domain name so my landing page is on blogger. I made a squidoo lens. I've done a few other things as well.

It's day 3 and I'm at the top of google for my keyword. There's a lot of paid ads for my keywords so I'm guessing it's pretty profitable.

I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing for about a month and see where I'm at.

My goal is to have 70-90 articles in a month spread over 4 or 5 niches. I believe I'll exceed $1000 in a month if I stay consistent. Consistency is key.

I enjoy keeping up with threads like this. I've been reading this forum for a long time, but I think it's time I became more of a participant, both here, and in the IM game.

thisoldhat, I've found your material to be especially inspiring. For months, I think my lack of success has come from my inability to settle on one method for a long period of time. Maybe I had the idea in my head that a lot of the blackhat methods we all read about really aren't that sustainable in the long term. This seems different though. You guys talk about this as though it's something that can be made into a passive income with time, and that's what I find really motivating.

I eventually want this to serve as a constant and reliable source of funding, all coming in without me having to spend all day keeping it running, so I can focus more time, energy (and money) on other campaigns. Multiple streams of income, etc, etc.

I did have one question though. A lot of you seem to be promoting clickbank or physical product sales, above anything else (obviously, by the thread title). How feasible would it be to run with other CPA-type offers instead? What about "free trial" type deals for different services? They tend to have a lower payout than direct sale, but it seems to me like your conversions would come faster when your reader isn't required to break out their wallet for you to get your cash. It seems like your landing page design would need to be a bit different for an approach like that, as well. If anyone's got some first hand experience with this, feedback would be much appreciated :)

Anyway, I've posted 13 articles in the last week, all on general dating topics. One of my articles is ranked #4 for a keyword that gets around 1600 monthly searches already, but none of the others have broken through the SERPs yet. It might be too soon to judge them, I guess we'll find out. CTR from ezine to my domain seems to be around 10% so far (no conversions yet), although overall I don't think I have enough hits to make any reliable statistical assessments quite yet.

I can only go up from where I am. Planning to ramp up my output this week, and see what needs improvement.

Thanks in advance, and good luck to you all :)

@Romeo216: I assume your EZA account is a 'basic plus', which allows you unlimited submissions after the initial 10 have been submitted..right? I ask because earlier today I submitted what was my 11th article and the response I got back was "No New Submissions Allowed"...From what I can gather on another forum, I have to wait until the remaining two articles I've submitted have been approved and then I can ask to be upgraded to that newer level.

In the meantime, I'm going to use Squidoo as an alternative until further headway over at EZA can be made. I may even use a few of those approved articles as links via Yahoo Answers.

@tippie: I wished I had some funds available to renew my domain name and take you up on your offer, but after being unemployed since August of last year and literally selling everything I had that was worth selling to just last this long, I've got but a few pennies to my name. (Never thought I'd be on food stamps but hey, gotta do what you gotta do I guess!)

@BigmanFergie: I see where you're coming from regarding diversifying where you source products from (CB vs CPA etc., etc.,) and I strongly believe that we should all find alternate income paths, however, for myself at this time, I want to focus my time and attention on just Clickbank. I had looked at PDC (PayDotCom.com), but am so familiar w/the CB products that I'm sticking with them for now. Of course, once the sales start coming in and I'm in a position to start re-investing in my business, then I'll start looking at other affiliate networks, as well as CPA programs too boot.

I'm off to work on my lens, so I'll catch up to this thread probably tomorrow..and always, here's to EVERYONE'S success...

Ok, so I spent my day researching keywords with high search volume and low competition. I searched for keywords that were 70`000 or less in competition. So I wrote down 15 keywords and began my article writing process. I targeted each keyword per article... not sure if it's the best thing I should do, but we will see about it when results come in. I will try to write/rewrite 3 articles per day, probably the best thing to do would be to outsource, by giving someone else to do it for me... but I don't have a budget for that, so we will stick with free methods.

I was overwhelmed about the responds I received... seriously guy's you are the best. I couldn't ask for more, you're inspiring me and give wonderful advices/tips that I will use in near future... Probably tomorrow I will start making a landing page for my campaign... What do you think, should I make a review landing page or a one product targeted landing page?

Also I would like to ask experts that are familiar with affiliate programs and Clickbank overall. I'm not American nor from UK or any other country where English is a native language, is that a factor... I know I have plenty of grammar mistakes all over the place, will that effect my results crucially?

    Best of Luck,
    Sn1per
