Why is it so difficult to get a product approved on Clickbank now?

They never use to be. The would approve just about anything. I know they have to be more strict about what they accept, but their whole TOS for vendors is vague. When they disapprove a product, they even give you a vague answer.

I am about to say the hell with Clickbank and use Paypal.

    Anyone else having similar problems?

I've been with them years and never had problems.

Recently I made a new product. I had nightmares they would reject it because they are more tough but again I had no problems.

What specifically did they say was wrong with your product?

Unfortunately we are not able to accept this product since it does not comply with our

Just create your own site, OP.

Do everything manually, from the payment to the acces.

It's quiute easy to do it.

Like royserpa said, you are better off creating your own site and adding your own affiliate program to it. There is a stereotype behind Clickbank products that most of them are scams. Which is pretty true, I have never seen a half decent Clickbank product. Save yourself from the judgement and create your own site and affiliate program

I already have a website, and now been considering using Paypal.

I agree. When I think of Clickbank, I think scam. That is why I RARELY promote any products from there.

Moreover, I was looking forward to taking advantage of the affiliates, but oh well. This software is cake to promote for affiliates.

Just use a 3rd party checkout solution (sth like 2checkout or avangate) as that will give more authority than some random paypal link.

    Just my 2 cents

Me thinks they are trying to improve their reputation leaving clickbank ripe and ready to be replaced as the web's garbage sale outlet by someone else... Who shall it be?

You mentioned that their response said something about it not complying with CL rules. San word...you replace that term with "Classified Site" or something like that...? Just a thought. It might not have anything to do with your product but that fact that it carries the dreaded C*L* word.

Upgrading to PayPal Payments Pro isn't a bad option either as it allows users to check out directly on your site and they never even see the PayPal logo. What's nice about this is that it's very professional and you're still getting funds through PayPal.
