I searched the forum before posting this and apologize in advance if this issue has already been addressed. I got my very 1st CB check friday and tried cashing it at my normal check cashing agency (Ace Cash Express) with no avail. I've tried walmart and there's no Wells Fargo within 500 miles of me.

Question:Would another bank cash this check even though it's not "theirs" ?

NO check cashing agency in the area will cash my damn check because 1) they don't know what the hell clickbank is and when i explain it, they think it's a scam and 2) there's no phone number for clickbank anywhere I could find to give them so they can verify the check is real. EDIT: I found a couple numbers over the weekend but they're for customers disputing charges.

Oh and before you ask, I don't have a bank account. My identity was stolen about a year ago and since then my attitude has been FUCK BANKS! I wouldn't trust them now anyway, with the economy and all. But back on topic....

Anyone that has gotten a check from them before without a bank account MUST have some advice. Help me please.

Have someone with a bank account cash it for you, or keep hitting up your check cashing places, if neither one works out, I guess you'll be going on a road trip. But seriously dude, just get a checking account for your convenience. you don't need to keep money in there.

i wud advice getting a bank account as it wud reduce ur problems.just open one for cheques dont keep money in that.

Yeah a use your bank account its a lot faster and safer.

No wellsfargo within 500 miles? that's pretty lame. I opened an account for wellsfargo just for depositing clickstank checks. Sorry but your idea of 'fuck banks' won't get you very far in this world of ours let alone internet marketing.

If his Identity was stolen, banks may need to confiscate your money. If thats the case, see uptown.

Or sign it over to friends or family, If you just have an attitude against banks, then hey, just throw the money away.

UPDATE:Went back to Ace's today so they could verify the check using one of the numbers I found on the net and after giving the teller the run around for 5-10 mins, it got done. Woo Hoo! Thanks to the ones that provided REAL advice. 'Preciate it BHW!

Grats on getting it cashed, but you really should look into a bank account :-p

Get lifelock if you want to protect your identity and are in the US.

Lifelock is a scam. You can do all that yourself for free. Just contact the credit bureaus and have them place a freeze on your credit so no one can open anything. Then when you want to open a credit card or get a loan, just unfreeze it temporarily.

Well you can call it a scam if you consider having someone change your oil a scam. You can do that yourself as well, but most people dont have the time or desire to do it. Lifelock is just a convenience service to people who dont want to re order their fraud alerts every 90 days.

Also, credit freezes cost $ each time you stop or start them, and it takes time to unfreeze it.

Just my .02 but at least let people know the facts.

Hey come on......he is miserable and everyone is taking a dig at him:bawling:
By the way, if your identity was stolen a year ago, it is not resolved yet?

Anyway why don't you call the numbers that you have for clickbank and see if they can refer you to someone who can help?
