This may have been mentioned here many times but I couldn't find a thread about it, so if anyone finds one please post the link so we don't have duplicate threads.

Is it possible to pick a clickbank product, make a promotion page for it and then use adwords coupons to get targeted traffic on it ?

The costs are low because people on BHW are giving adwords coupons for 5$ or sometimes free. and with a 80-100$ coupon u can bring a good amount of targeted traffic for sure.

So, has anyone tried this, can u share experience ?

In meantime I found this link explaining little more about this: http://www.clickbankguide.com/adwords.htm

This could be a really easy way for newbies to earn some good cash :)

I would like to know this as well. Although, I would think you'd need some kind of landing page?

Yes, a landing page far better than those spammy landing pages that somehow still convert.

I followed this tutorial two weeks ago and got my a**ords acct banned. Glad i didnt use it too much anyway.

My mistake, I put the display url as the vendor page. and the other url was the hoplink.

I didnt get it right anyway.

Sry, to hear that. This requires a lot of testing to getting the right low price convertible keyword for the product or so. So it can not be done just by making a campaign etc.

    Correct.

This (setting up a 1-page LP and driving PPC traffic to it) used to work about 2 years ago - by now it's history.

Nowadays you need to be far more clever, actually build sites that look good, provide some content and have the general "feeling" of real sites rather than that bridge/pitch pages.

Obviously, this will lower your conversions so you have to do a lot of testing and figure out cost-effective keywords to bid on.

All that said, running PPC to CB products is still very much possible (and profitable) - just not as easy as it used to be :)
