Hey guys, I'm pretty new to ClickBank (been a CPA promoter for years though so I'm well established in the IM game...) and I was just wondering if I could get some advice on one of my recent campaigns!
I have been sending traffic to a ClickBank product directly using a cloaked form of my hoplink. All of this traffic is highly niche related and have all clicked my link based off them wanting this product (obviously, a small few may have been fellow IMers trying to find out what I was promoting)
Here are my stats for the 48 hour testing period:
Hops: 748
Earnings Per Hop: $0.13
Hops Per Order: 249
Hops Per Order Form Submission: 7
Order Form Impressions: 101
Order Form Submits: 10
Order Form Conversion: 2.97%
Sales: 3
Profit: ~$95
Now, while I am very happy with the number of hops, and the number of order form impressions - what the hell is with the number of submits and the number of sales based off that many submits?
In order for them to see the order form, they must watch a video relating to the product for around 15 minutes which presells the product to them excellently, including mentioning the price of the product, so I do not see how I would be getting such an abysmal Impressions/Submits ratio?
Additionally, how is it that out of the 10 people who submitted the order form I have only been credited with 3 sales?
It is my understanding that if some people submit the order form with incorrect information, fraudulently or are unable to complete the purchase then this will register as a submission but not a sale - but over 2/3 of those submits not being sales seems somewhat odd to me?
The product is in the health niche, and, according to my belief, this niche usually gets fairly high average earnings when compared to other ClickBank products (if you can drive the traffic...)
Any help is greatly appreciated, what do you think is happening guys?
Is there any chance that I am somehow being screwed by the ClickBank merchant, is this just bad luck, or should I switch products?
Warmest regards,
JFoulds
EDIT: I'm sure a lot of people will respond without reading with 'probably crap traffic lol', but please read my post, all of this traffic is from niche related sources highly relevant to the product, and those coming to my website only do so if they are interested already in the product.
EDIT2: Also, I'm sure some people may be thinking '$95 in 48 hours is good why are you complaining', but please understand from my perspective I can average at least $0.2 incentive CPA EPC average for USA traffic (which the majority of mine is) so I would be making more money from just directing people to a niche related eBook with content locking than to this ClickBank product - and my profit would be at least $120 rather than $95 in addition to being able to work with CPA networks I already have contacts with.
And it was my belief that (again, if you can drive highly related niche traffic) EPC for ClickBank hops are far higher than general incentive locking!
EDIT3: Perhaps directing to a relevant CPA offer may be able to get far higher EPC than this ClickBank offer too?
