I am promoting a product on YouTube and I was ranking on a top position but what the hell I saw today that also the CB vendor is promoting hiss product with videos on YouTube that okay. But why the hell he flagged my video. If the vendor don't want me to promote his product then what the hell he is doing on CB and why there is an affiliate section on his site. Can anybody answer me this, can you please tell me how to report a CB vendor

Youtube doesn't disclose who reported you, how do you know it was the vendor? Did he previously ask you to take it down? Even though I can't possibly think of any reason why an affiliate cannot make a youtube video unless you were using their copyrighted material that he didn't want you to? I have no idea~

lol so he dosnt have to pay you a commission if they order directly from him

Question: did you by any chance infringed on the vendor's copyrights (for example: uploaded their video sales letter to YouTube without their consent)?

Mike.

While many vendors, including us, are happy for affiliates to use any materials we have to promote our products, not all vendors feel the same and some will have copyright restrictions.

However, as Clzzzz said, YT never discloses who flagged you, so how did you reach this conclusion?

In this case seems like you were flagged by another competitor, not the vendor... Personally i don't think they would do that and also, how can you be sure that they flagged the video?

i agree with WormWH. if the video is a part of the promotion tools that you can get in the aff-area, then why the vendor trying to flag your video?

Again, how does the OP know that the vendor (not anyone else) flagged him/her?

Mike.

All I can think of is that the vendor filed a copyright infringement claim on YT, and then on the OP's video it would say 'removed due to copy right claim by vendor name'...

OP: did you get a copyright infringement message from YT or did you simply saw your video flagged? Any explanation would be appreciated.

Mike.

Indeed, if your video has been deleted, YT will send an email to the associated account with an explanation, e.g. whether it was removed due to TOS, fake views, etc...
