    Hey guys,

Other than flushing dns, erasing flash cookies, cache, and browsing history. Any tools to erase digital footprints after a session on chrome/firefox on my Mac?

    Thanks,

Flushing dns, erasing flash cookies, cache, and browsing history are all that you need, I guess. What is the other "digital footprints" are you referring to ?

If you mean online monitor size if the browser is maximized can be used to track you - although this is quite rare, along with all the usual stuff like user agent, ip and mac. For offline footprint if you are really worried (as deleted files can in some cases can be recovered) there are a few tools around (e.g Wipefile, Hardwipe, cybershredded ect) , although i don't know any for mac. Running a linux distro (e.g tails) as a virtual machine in live mode, where no data is retained between sessions is also another way if you are really desperate.
