    Classifieds Marketing
Many webmasters and bloggers talk about several forms of online promotion, including PPC, SEO, Blogging, Press Releases, Email Marketing, etc?but very little is mentioned about marketing on classifieds websites.
You may already know that Craigslist.org is the biggest classified website but is used by thousand of marketers already to promote their business so it might not be the best site to use to promote your business.
There are several classifieds website that are worth trying and they may bring you a great deal of targeted traffic to your sites if your marketing is done properly.
Here?s is the first Classifieds Website that I?ve been marketing on with great success for the past few months.

    USFreeAds
USFreeAds is one of the Top Online FREE! Classifieds. This is a High Traffic site. Their pages are quickly indexed by the Search Engines, giving your ads even more exposure. Keep your ads running there at all times. They also have Gold Memberships, it?s only $10 for a year. As a Gold Member for many years, I can tell you that there are also many great benefits in that package.

    Creating a Free Account
    a) Go to http://www.usfreeads.com and click on the ?Register? link:

    b) Now i recommend you to buy the Gold Membership. It?s only $10/year and you get access to a lot of great features. You can also post unlimited ads and you also get a higher exposure and placement for your ads. If you go with the Free Membership your can only have 5 ads running at a time.

    c) The purpose of this step-by-step guide is to teach you how to post your first ad so i?m going to explain how to create a Free Membership account. Click on the ?Free Membership? link, agree to their ToS and click on ?Continue?.

    d) Now, enter your desired Username and your Email Address and go to the Next Step.

    e) On the next page, enter the required details and go to the Next Step.

    f) Registration complete. They will send you the login details to your email.

    Posting an Ad
    a) Enter your details as you see in the image below and log-in.

    b) Click on Post an Ad and select the most relevant category.

    c) Lets say you select the ?Business Opportunities? Category. Now select a relevant subcategory and stat writing your ad.
Here?s and example of a business opportunity ad:
    http://www.impho.com/my/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/127.png
    e) Once you?ve entered the ad details, click on ?Continue? and then click on ?Post ad? . That?s it. Your ad will go live almost immediately.

As you can see on the image above, having a Free Membership account you can?t include your site?s address in your ad?s description. That?s why i recommend you to get the Gold Membership at least. Once again, it?s only $10/year.
Here are a few other classified sites that you can use to promote your sites:

    Gumtree Classifieds
    http://www.gumtree.com
Gumtree is effectively the UK?s version of Craiglist and, like the latter, is split into sub-sites dependent on geographical region. Whilst certain sections only allow paid ads, such as the Jobs section, others are entirely free and largely unmoderated.

    Classifieds.co.uk
    http://www.classifieds.co.uk
Classifieds.co.uk is another UK site, so only really beneficial for UK specific hubpages, this is another great classified site which is designed in a Craigslist/Gumtree format.

    Craigslist
    http://www.craigslist.org
Does Craigslist require any introduction? By far the biggest classified website in the world, so big and so deep in fact that it will take you a week or so to use the site comfortably! Be careful when being promotional of online stuff, they do not take too kindly to perceived ?spamming?, although a well thought out link or two can achieve a fantastic amount of traffic. Affiliate links are a big no-no and could even get your IP banned from posting. The potential here for exposure is phenomenal if you hit it right.

    AdPost.com
    http://www.adpost.com
Just another of hundreds of decent free advertising sites, AdPost.com gets a decent 30,000,000 page views per month! That is potentially great exposure. I can tell you that the site is split into various global geographical regions including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and various countries in Asia.

    Backpage.com
    http://www.backpage.com

    Kijiji.com

    Oodle.com
    http://www.oodle.com

    OLX.com
