    Dear Members,

So..I built around 100 different MNS and had them hosted on one ip a hostgator hosting account. Then I got the G-slap and basically all my sites went to hell and fell back a few hundred pages :( So this time around I decided to be safer. So far I've built around 50 sites, made them look nice, added around 20-30 articles to each site and now I only keep 5 sites on 1 hosting account or IP address to keep my class-c ip's varied. So buying hosting everytime I make 5 sites is getting expensive so I was thinking:

Can I buy or rent a server for a month (I don't know how many IP's I will get but I think I will get a lot right?) and host 5 different sites on one ip, then move over to another IP and build another 5 sites and so. That way I'm just paying the monthly server fee but I have all my sites on that server but hosted on a bunch of different IP's?

Not sure if I make sense but I'm trying to save some money here...

    Thanks in advance!

I'm curious about this as well. At the moment I am only using two hosts but will need more... or a better solution as I build more sites.

never use this. extra IPs or seohosting will give you followed ips..
    example:

    80.80.80.1
    80.80.80.2
    80.80.80.3
    80.80.80.4

    huge footprint

hosting them on the same account is a huge footprint plus you can get ips from different countries and different providers

you can just buy a VPS and get extra ips, an additional ip is usually $2 , so you basically add as many sites as you want, as before, but just assign the same ip on only5-10 of them then use another ip. there are also a few hostings offering seo hosting...the same idea as above, you have different ips, but it's more expensive than the regular one.

I know companies that sell like up to 61 IPs for a dedicated server, but 60 of them are shared IPs and only 1 is a dedicated IP. It's like an extra $50/month in addition to the $80/month the server costs. and to add cPanel it's like $20/month...

Too costly imo, but I only have 10 sites

How do you monetize 100 different microsites? Do you have many different adsense, amazon, cpa accounts etc?

Get a dedicated server or VPS from a huge provider, bigger the better because they own so many ips and ranges. When you want more ips only order 8 or 16 pack. You will get different ranges if you wait a day or 2 between orders. They go through so many you will get different C,B,A ranges often. If you get a set you aren't happy with just cancel them, all you lose is 8 bucks.

    Do you have any recommendations?

    To get your instructions right:

    1. Buy a dedicated server or VPS (dedicated server will cost a lot more than a VPS I assume...)

    - But how many IP's do I get with this?

    2. when I need more I'll most likely order 16 more IP's to save time and money

-Do I need to install CPANEL on all the IPs or can I tell them to install CPANEL for me?

    3. Check the range of the 16 IP's, if all of the 16 or partially are like:

    80.80.80.1
    80.80.80.2
    80.80.80.3
    80.80.80.4

    Then I cancel right?

    4. If I cancel order another 16 IP pack?

Does it matter if they are A, B, C range? I have no idea what Class-C actually is, i just thought they were IP's on a different host that's why I was ordering a new hosting package everytime I built 5 sites...

    Thanks for the help +rep!!

Sorry to burst your bubble. Even if you host your websites on 100 different hosting accounts then also you are not safe. The bigger footprint you are living is either Analytics or Adsense account.

If you are using Adsense to monetize your website then get 4-5 different accounts and split your websites. I know it's difficult to get adsense accounts but there is no other way.If you can't make this happen then convert your MNS websites to Authority websites.

    Read my thread about it

One of my favorite seo hosting companies is KVChosting

http://www.kvchosting.com/seo-web-hosting.html I use several different hosting companies, but these guys have great customer support and answer tickets very quickly. The also have some of the lowest prices.

They do randomize the IP's, so they are not so close.

Hmm. Is realy using different IPs such a big deal? The biggest footprint for google is to look at your adsense code pointing to the same account. I can get the point if you are using different adsense accounts for each IP but since google owns adsense it don't think spreading out your pages will do much good.
